Brake Choppers

Universal Brake Choppers for Robots, Gates, Lifts and Vehicles

Protection against overvoltage in the DC link: brake choppers protect frequency converters and servo drives from overvoltage during braking, reversing and regeneration faults. Akrodyn brake choppers connect directly to the DC link without an additional power supply, and retrofit into existing systems.
